homecare homecare

MyStelara Homecare is a free medicine delivery and injection service, available at most hospitals, that gives you the option of taking your medication - Stelara® - in the comfort of familiar surroundings.

You and your healthcare professional will discuss the type of homecare service that is most appropriate for you.

Home delivery

You will discuss with your healthcare team whether it is appropriate for you to self-administer your medication at home. Once you have been adequately trained by a healthcare professional, your medication can be delivered directly to your home or to another convenient location that you choose (such as your place of work). You will need to make sure you have a fridge to store your medication in. The majority of people will receive this type of service.

Home training visits

A qualified nurse will visit you in your home or location of choice to train you to self-administer. You can then move onto receiving medication deliveries.

Home administration visits

Some people may prefer ongoing support. There is the option to have a qualified nurse visit you in your home or location of choice to administer your medication.

There are two Stelara® Homecare service providers. If you are unsure which of these companies provides your Homecare, speak to your doctor or nurse.
